Innocent Tintype Pin

$ 39.00

The faces! Who are they? What were their names and were they nice? Funny? What were their passions? You can make up their biography and if you wish to adopt any of them as your very own family, your new relative will be on their way to your loving arms.

Fresh from another century are these pins created individually by hand. A bit of info: a tintype is made by creating a direct positive on a thin sheet of metal coated with a dark lacquer or enamel and used as the support for the photographic emulsion. They were most popular during the 1860s and 1870s.

Tintypes are one of a kind.
